The best thing about the literary arts is that everything about them will affect every individual in a different way. As a community, we all work together and the literate arts allow us to work towards the same basic goals.
Or what we learn? As for me, I will keep the literary arts close to my life because I know that I will only benefit from them and their limitless uses.
This relationship to education helps what is learned to keep expanding it in the act of transference. The problem-posing method would do just this.

Freire realized how important the literary arts were in the learning processes. Letting the important meanings of things slide by unnoticed is a tragedy in and of itself. We as students need to be aware of exactly what we are learning. We are able to blur the very lines of time with communication.

Communications in all forms have all gone. There would be nothing to pass down to generations to come. It gives communications meaning.
He used his education as a band-aide to bridge the many gaps in his home life. When he needed advice, he looked to his education for the answers. Human expression is what makes us individuals.
I think at some point in our lives, in one way or another, we all take for granted what reading and writing means and what it is good for. To these questions, I have no answers. He saw this as the oppression of the people and their educations. I disagree with these views. Educations would crumble, our histories would almost be nonexistent.
I think Rodriguez took his view on the literate arts to an extreme. All I have is my opinion and the views of other writers who have noticed the same importance of the literate arts in their lives.
