On successful completion on this course students will receive an accredited Level 3 Certificate Award in Health and Social Care Studies. Subject Course — Vocational or chosen Academic subject, usually studied for 12 — 16 hours a week. Holidays cannot be sanctioned during college term as there are a required number of days for the college and placement which must be completed in order to gain the qualification.
All issues of the programme will be effectively managed by our appointed assessors. Level 2 or Level 3 but will also be an Award, Certificate or Diploma depending on the amount of guided learning hours or credits associated with the qualification.
All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview. Students will cover such areas as risk assessment, planning, implementation, the legal aspects of record keeping, computer based care planning systems and much more!!
On successful completion on this course students Diploma level 2 health social receive an accredited Level 2 Certificate Award. A nationally recognised and flexible RQF qualification that enables candidates to have a qualification that relates directly to their caring role within the care establishment.
Students can undertake their placement a minimum of 25 hours in either a Health or Social Care setting. It equips Learners with underpinning knowledge and understanding of the sector and roles within it.
You may be entitled to a Bursary payment to help with costs such as travel to College, trips and equipment, a food allowance and childcare. On completion, the candidate will have achieved a minimum of guided learning hours. The course is suited to people of all ages seeking to gain a more formal understanding of the principles of caring for others in a range of settings.
